USA Pears and Brie Bruschetta
- 3 USA Pears
- ¼ cup of honey
- ¼ cup of balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup of red wine
- 1 pinch of Jamaican pepper
- 1 tea spoon of Orange zests
- 1 pinch of salt
- 8 medium size slices of italian style bread
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 7 ounces (200g) of Brie cheese
- Rosemary for garnish
Peel the USA Pears and cut into cubes. Place in a saucepan with honey, balsamic vinegar, red wine, orange zest and salt. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Let cool.
Place the Italian bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Bake in moderate oven (200◦C), preheated, for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven, cut the brie into slices and distribute over the bread. Above, distribute pears and return to the oven for another 10 minutes or until heat through. Remove, garnish with rosemary and serve.
